Kids Checkmate Series (Mondays 4-5:30pm in March)

Mondays from 4-5:30PM March 9th, 16th, 30th (note: last session has a gap week in between for kiln firing time). $100. Calling all creative chess kids! In this 3-session pottery series, elementary-aged students will sculpt their own clay chess pieces using fun, hands-on techniques—with instructor guidance to bring each idea to life. The first two classes focus on building and details; the final class is glazing and color. Students should bring their own chessboard for inspiration and sizing. Location: Anam-Cre Pottery Studio, 1243 Monterey Street Suite 100, San Luis Obispo.
