Watercolor with Jan French - 9/8 -11/24

Mondays, 6-8:30pm. (3 sessions available: Session 1 - September 8th to September 29th / Session 2 - October 6th to October 27th / Session 3 - November 3rd to November 24th). These courses introduce beginners to the basics and provide a refresher class for more advanced students to practice the challenge of painting watercolors from a logical approach. Students will work at their own pace, in their own personal style. We’ll explore basic techniques to help you form your own library of approaches to different effects that you can then explore and combine. Our emphasis will be on guiding your own direction, color choices, subject matter and style preferences. Use your own photos, our occasional still life set-ups, and/or learn by trying to duplicate watercolor paintings of the masters. Classes are limited to 8 students.
