Saturday, 11 October 2025. 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Santa Rosa Church, 1174 Main St., Cambria . International Observe the Moon Night is a time to come together with fellow Moon enthusiasts and curious people worldwide. NASA invites everyone on Earth to learn about lunar science and exploration, take part in celestial observations, and honor cultural and personal connections to the Moon. Observe the Moon Night occurs annually in September or October, when the Moon is around first quarter ― a great phase for evening observing. Speakers tell us about the heavens, share stunning images of the moon, the stars and other deep space entities, and we will provide powerful telescopes for viewing. To learn more, visit https://moon.nasa.gov/observe-the-moon-night/about/overview/. $15 donation is requested. Proceeds from this event go toward assisting downtown and Moonstone businesses to upgrade to Dark Sky-friendly lighting.
