Chinese Brush Painting - August Camp

Friday, August 15, 2025 3:00 PM - Friday, August 22, 2025 12:00 PM. Fees: On-site lodging: $1182 - includes 7 nights of lodging in our shared cabins, 20 delicious camp meals, and all instruction during the workshop. Off-site lodging: $1057 - includes 20 delicious meals and all instruction during the workshop. Interested students are encouraged to have brush handling and moisture control skills, and have familiarity using various types of raw and sized xuan papers, traditional natural, hard hair brushes (orchid bamboo, horse hair) and soft hair brushes (goat or sheep), and mixed hair brushes. Chinese “chip” paints, or Chinese or western watercolor paints are used. Bottled Asian ink is required. Students must bring their own painting supplies and paper.
