Our Annual Community Celebration, Atascadero Colony Days will take place on Saturday Oct. 18, 2025 from ​10 am to 3 pm. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and kick off behind the Administration Building on Lewis Avenue, then head across the Arch Bridge and continue forward as Lewis Ave becomes Capistrano Ave, moving toward CA-41. After reaching CA-41, the parade will turn Northwest onto El Camino Real, then make a right onto West Mall, and end near Lewis Ave. The Festival will start immediately after the parade and continue until 4:00 pm. There will be a variety of vendors, entertainment, ​and food in and around the Sunken Gardens. Wiener dog and small dog races will start at 12:00 pm. The Atascadero Fourth of July Music Festival will again take place on July 4 from ​4 to 8 pm at Atascadero Lake Park. It will be an evening for the community to gather ​with friends and family and celebrate!
