Tree Planting at Nipomo High School 🌳. In partnership with Lucia Mar School District. Come get your hands in the dirt for a good cause! We’re planting 38 trees and shrubs to create a natural dust screen between Nipomo High School and the neighboring agricultural fields - helping improve air quality and add beauty to campus. No heavy digging required! Thanks to the amazing Lucia Mar maintenance crew, most of the hard work will be done ahead of time. All that’s left is the fun part, planting, and mulching! What to bring & wear: closed-toed shoes, weather-appropriate layers, and a reusable water bottle (we’ll have water on-site). No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm! This is a great way to give back to the community, support local students, and green up the landscape. We hope to see you there!
