Dress a Girl Ministry meets the 2nd Saturday of each month in Room 109 from 10am-2pm. We dream of a world in which every girl has at least one new dress. We want girls to know that they are worthy of respect, and that they are loved by God. Contact Marianne Blevins for more info (805) 610-6739.
April 8-May 27 (7 weeks: We will not meet Tuesday, April 22nd). Join us for our FBC Women’s Spring Bible Study. We will meet on Tuesday’s at 9:30 am in the Chapel from April 8th to May 27th (not meeting April 22nd). In this 7-session study, Kelly Minter invites you into the daring faith modeled by Esther and her cousin Mordecai—a faith developed over time, rooted in the goodness of God, lived out through extraordinary circumstances, and used to change the world. Although our time looks different from Esther’s, our God is just as active and faithful today, and He has called you for such a time as this. We are asking for a $25 donation for study materials. In addition, we ask that you consider donating $25 toward a bible study scholarship, or a smaller denomination for a ministry donation. Your donation for the study materials not only covers the cost of books but actually helps support Women’s Ministry throughout the year. Mondays, 6:30pm-8pm. Duration: 8 weeks; April 28th–June 16th. Location: First Baptist Church, Room 109. The Daniel Plan is an innovative approach to achieving a better, healthier life based on the essentials of faith, food, fitness, focus, and friends. Created with biblical insight and assistance from medical and fitness experts, The Daniel Plan is designed to be done in a supportive community while relying on God’s instruction for living. Research shows that people getting healthy in community lose twice as much weight as those who try it alone. What would we expect? God never meant for you to go through life alone, and that includes the journey to a better, healthier you.
