Autistic Women+ Empowered Meeting

We are a group of adult women who identify as Autistic. Whether you identify as Autistic or have a formal diagnosis, you are welcome to join us. We meet in person every third Saturday from 10-11:30AM, and we have a private Facebook group and Discord channel for people who have attended at least once. We center the experience of Autistic women+, including trans women, trans feminine people, and non-binary people who connect with the feminine experience, and all are welcome. We gather to support each other as we navigate the neurotypical world, that’s not made for us. We hope to share interests, ideas, experiences, strengths, and challenges and learn from each other. We will have fidgets, crochet supplies, colored pencils and coloring books to share. We have the option to play Autistic brain friendly board games (i.e., resource/turn/worker management, not aggressive or social based), like Splendor, Setters of Catan, and Ticket to Ride. Whether you're looking to learn, share, stim, play, or simply be in community, all are welcome! Location: Gala Pride and Diversity Center, 1060 Palm St., San Luis Obispo.
