October 18, 2025 from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Come join us for a relaxing day of native seed collection at Black Lake Ecological Area! This property is not open to the public, so this is an amazing opportunity to see the efforts that LCSLO has made over the years to restore this unique freshwater lake and the surrounding dunes. The seeds you help collect, including lupine, poppies, and other dune natives, will be used for continued restoration projects around the site. More information about the specific meeting location will be sent to you before the day of the event. Bring your preferred sun protection, water bottle, and gloves. In the event of rain, this event will be canceled. The maximum number of participants is 20, so sign up here: https://lcslo.org/events/black-lake-ecological-area-volunteer-workday-3/
