Every Sunday. 10:30 AM-11:30 AM (60 min). This class is devoted to exploring a multitude of meditation techniques from various traditions to connect deeper to one’s self. There are many forms of meditation such as sitting, breathing, guided imagery, movement, and chanting mantras. Each form of meditation can bring unique benefits such as relaxation, mental clarity, and elevated mood. Students will first be guided through gentle movement to release stress, feel more present in their bodies, and prepare for a meditation experience. Students will also receive tips regarding practical self-care concepts from the instructor, who has dual training as a psychotherapist and meditation/yoga instructor. This class provides students a weekly anchor to quiet the mind, feel grounded, and get inspired to implement healthy daily practices. It is open to all levels, abilities, and body types.
