Pianist and composer Michael Ragonese brings his quartet to Libretto for an incredible evening featuring Grammy-nominated saxophonist Ben Wendel. Performing all-new music from Michael's upcoming album Chasing Calm — recorded this past January and set for release this fall — the band will showcase a dynamic blend of modern jazz mixed with classical influences. Wendel, known for his work with artists like Tigran Hamasyan, Bill Frisell, and Terence Blanchard, as well as his acclaimed piece The Seasons, brings his signature sound to the stage. Rounding out the quartet will be Anthony Fung on drums and Luca Alemanno on bass. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience some of today’s most exciting jazz artists in an intimate setting.
