Lifelong Learners of the Central Coast

Since 1984, Pacific Wildlife Care is the county's only licensed, nonprofit rehabilitation center that cares for injured birds, mammals, and reptiles. They will bring some of their wildlife ambassadors to class so you can meet them and learn their rehabilitation stories first hand. They will also tell you about the history and mission of PWC and bring you up to date on the progress their dedicated volunteers, donors, and staff are making in realizing their dream of a new, state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital. They will explain PWC volunteer opportunities and offer tips on what to do if you encounter injured wildlife in your back yard or on your travels. Addmission: $12. Oddfellows Hall, 520 Dana Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Buy ticket here: https://www.my805tix.com/e/wild-side/tickets
