Sherriff’s Family Day

Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM 3:00 PM. Get an up-close look at the people and tools that keep San Luis Obispo County safe at Sheriff’s Family Day. This free, family-friendly event features interactive displays and demonstrations from the Sheriff’s Posse, Search and Rescue, SWAT, K9 units, emergency helicopters, and more. Kids can enjoy free hot dogs, T-shirts, junior badges, and even enter a bike raffle. Meet Sheriff Ian Parkinson and his sidekick, Sheriff Woody from Toy Story.
