Level 1 Swim Lessons Beginner Swim July 29th - August 8th. (Tuesday - Friday). Location: Morro Bay High School Aquatics Center. Ages 3 - 6 yrs. Registration: $120.00. Level 1 - This level is for swimmers to get used to the water and learn life saving safety skills. We focus on getting comfortable in the water without parent/guardian. Skills practiced include entering and exiting the water safely, blowing bubbles, submerging under water, back float supported to unsupported, front float supported to unsupported, gliding. Lessons will be 30 minutes in length. Lessons will be 1 instructor to 5 participants. Level 2 Swim Lessons. July 29th - August 8th @ 1:45pm, Tuesday - Friday. For ages 5-14 yrs. Price: $120.00. This level is for swimmers to get used to the water and learn life saving safety skills. We focus on entering and exiting the water safely, submerging under water, back floating unsupported, front floating unsupported, gliding, and taking steps to swimming freestyle unsupported. Bootcamp focuses on participant getting back in the water, building strength and endurance, and improving water treading abilities all while having fun! Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted in the deep end of the pool. Morro Bay Recreation has a no refund policy. Activity meeting dates. Session 3 - June 15th, 22nd and 29th. JG Boot Camp will focus on getting back in the water, building swimming skills, improve treading water techniques, while having fun! $75.00.
