Level 2 Swim Lessons - June 17th - June 27th @ 1:10pm. Tuesday - Friday. Location: Morro Bay High School Aquatics Center. Ages 3-6. Price: $120. This level is for swimmers to get used to the water and learn life saving safety skills. We focus on working towards independence. Skills practiced include entering and exiting the water safely, blowing bubbles, submerging under water, moving in back float from supported to unsupported, moving in front float from supported to unsupported, gliding, and beginning steps to freestyle. Lessons will be 30 minutes in length. Lessons will be 1 instructor to 5 participants. Youth Swim Camp - June 17th - June 27th from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. Youth Swim Camp will focus on improving all 4 competitive strokes, starts and turns. This clinic is designed for participants who have basic knowledge and understanding of all 4 competitive stroke and want to improve their technique and endurance while having fun! The instructor is a Seventh-Degree Black Belt with 30 years of experience and a West Coast Representative of Okinawa Karate-Do Kyokai. Bootcamp focuses on participant getting back in the water, building strokes and treading water all while having fun! This is not a replacement for beginner swim lessons. Morro Bay Recreation has a no refund policy.
