1st Annual Community Day at Rancho Burro!

Join us to discover the magic of Rancho Burro on July 19, 2025 from 1 PM-5 PM! Location: 4855 Righetti Road, San Luis Obispo, CA. This is a special Community Day event where you can witness the extraordinary connection between humans and our rescued donkeys. Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of our sanctuary, explore our brand-new barn, and let the sounds of live music from our talented volunteer Steve's band, The Lucky Nines, fill your soul. Enjoy scenic tractor rides around the property, savor mouthwatering BBQ generously donated and indulge in sweet treats from a local dessert truck. We'll also have face painting and a crafts table to delight the young and young at heart, and fun games of corn hole for everyone to enjoy. Most importantly, you'll have the chance to meet our adorable donkeys, hear their inspiring rescue stories, and experience the heart of our sanctuary's mission. This intimate event is limited to 50 community members and children over 8 years old. Tickets are required and must be purchased in advance.
