SLO Botanical Garden

September 28 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am. This is a Free event! September is a good time of year to think about seeds: what produces them, what they look like, where to find them and when to plant for the next year. A scientific presentation on types of seeds, germination, storage and uses will be led by marine biologist Faylla Chapman, and retired teachers and naturalists Barb Renshaw and Jeff Reifel. The presentation will feature a demonstration table and tales of seeds with microscopes to look at them up close. A walk in the garden to discover seeds will follow.
