October Luncheon

Oct. 1 from 11am-2pm. Location: Cafe Roma, 1020 Railroad Ave, SLO. Luncheon Fee: $36. The San Luis Obispo Newcomers meets the first Wednesday of each month for a social hour and lunch with a program. Please send us an email if you are interested in attending a luncheon. Reservations are necessary to attend a luncheon. This month's speaker is John Lindsey, meteorologist. John Lindsey has been forecasting weather and ocean conditions along California's Central Coast for over 35 years. For 2 decades he served as PG&E's marine meteorologist at Diablo Canyon Power Plant, where he became a trusted voice on coastal weather and climate. John currently serves on the boards of the PG&E Veterans Employee Resource Group and the Central Coast Aquarium.
