If you are looking to just learn to play on the beach, or hone your skills in for the Olympics...This class is for you! We will be covering the basics of point earning and rules while touching on techniques and strategy. Every Wednesday from 8:15am to 9:15am at New Life Community Church (990 James Way, Pismo Beach, CA 93449). New Life Senior Fitness is a balanced conditioning class designed to improve cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility for those 55 years and older. Classes include low impact aerobics, resistance training using bands, strength training with light hand weights, and plenty of stretching. In order to gain the full benefit of this class, you will need a small playground ball, an elastic dynaband, and a set of hand weights. These items may be purchased at Big 5, Sports Authority, Walmart, or Target. We have loaner equipment available for first timers or visitors.
