Musical Theatre Performance: The Wizard of Oz

Jul 21, 2025 - Aug 8, 2025. Monday to Friday. Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm. Location: 3533 Empleo St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Over the course of three weeks, students will experience the entire exciting process of putting up a musical: in-class “auditions,” choreography, music, and staging rehearsals, tech rehearsal, and performance! All registered students will receive a role in our 30-minute musical adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. This fast-paced class is for students with some musical theatre class or performing experience who are ready to work hard and have fun! The final week of camp and two performances for invited guests will take place on the downtown SLO REP stage. Performances at 11:30am and 12:45pm on Friday, June 27. This class will end with a “sharing” for family and friends on Friday, August 8.
