Volunteer Solar Installer Training Webinar with SunWork.org

June 7th June 7 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Join our free event to learn how to install solar energy systems. Then, you will be able to volunteer on solar and water heater electrification projects in your community. This 3-hour event teaches the basics of rooftop solar, solar equipment, electricity, and construction safety. This orientation is a great opportunity to learn about clean renewable energy.Once you’ve completed this training, you are eligible to join us to install residential solar systems as well as heat pump water heaters in your community. Volunteers work together with SunWork’s professional staff on projects and get a chance to learn hands-on about solar energy and heat pump water heating. Some of our volunteers leverage this experience toward a career in clean energy technologies. Others plan to install solar or heat pump water heating for their own homes. Most volunteer because they enjoy supporting the expansion of clean renewable energy in their communities.
