Enjoy the Sounds of Summer with the 2025 “Saturdays in the Park” Summer Concert Series! Concerts will be held nearly every Saturday evening throughout the summer at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand from 6:30-8:30 pm. Concert dates include June 28th, July 5th, 12th, 26th, and August 2nd, 9th & 30th. Concerts are FREE to the public and everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, low-back chair, and the entire family to relish the warm summer evenings at Atascadero Lake Park.

The Teen Center is located inside the Colony Park Community Center. In addition to offering a variety of fun games and sports for teens from 6th grade to 12th grade, including air hockey, pool, ping pong, Xbox, movies, boardgames, dodgeball and basketball. Staff at the Teen Center also run activities and play games with the teens daily. Teen Center membership is only $20/year and scholarships are available. On December 5, 2025 from 5:30pm - 8pm, The City of Atascadero is excited to start the holiday season with our annual Light Uo the Downtown & Holiday Sip & Shop! The event begins at 5:30 in the Sunken Gardens and continues throughout Downtown Atascadero with the Holiday Sip & Shop! We will have community entertainment, Santa appearances, complimentary Model-A Firetruck & Hay Rides, hot chocolate, and more! Shops will be open late and wine and beer tastings will be available from participating merchants. This is a great way to enjoy shopping and strolling Downtown along with the festivities of the season! December 6th, 5:00 – 9:00 pm at Atascadero Lake Park. Enjoy a special evening walk around the lake with carolers, community singing, holiday decorations and more. Santa will be at the Zoo from 5-6:30 pm and then at the Ranger House starting at 7 pm! This event is FREE to the public and presented by the Atascadero Lake Neighborhood Association.
