The Teen Center is located inside the Colony Park Community Center. In addition to offering a variety of fun games and sports for teens from 6th grade to 12th grade, including air hockey, pool, ping pong, Xbox, movies, boardgames, dodgeball and basketball. Staff at the Teen Center also run activities and play games with the teens daily. Teen Center membership is only $20/year and scholarships are available. Enjoy the Sounds of Summer with the 2025 “Saturdays in the Park” Summer Concert Series! Concerts will be held nearly every Saturday evening throughout the summer at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand from 6:30-8:30 pm. Concert dates include June 28th, July 5th, 12th, 26th, and August 2nd, 9th & 30th. Concerts are FREE to the public and everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, low-back chair, and the entire family to relish the warm summer evenings at Atascadero Lake Park.

12th Annual brew at the Zoo at the Charles Paddock Zoo - Sat., Sept. 6th, 5 – 8 pm!. Get ready for a fun evening at the Charles Paddock ZOO sampling a large variety of craft beers, distilled spirits, ciders, seltzers, wine, and more! Enjoy an exciting lineup of Live Music and fun contests, including a Hula Hoop Contest, Costume Contest, and Dance Contest—plus, take home a commemorative glass! Participants can expect a variety of craft breweries from San Luis Obispo County and the surrounding area. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for our designated drivers along with plenty of water available for all our guests. And because this is Brew at the Zoo, we hope you will dress the part and look like a Party Animal!
