The Cancer Well-Fit Program is a 10-week program that runs quarterly. Class size is limited and meetings are three times per week from 11am - noon. Address: 1051 Las Tablas Rd., Templeton, CA 93465. At the end of each session, participants are assisted in developing a personalized fitness program which they can continue as a way of life. This event requires pre-registraiton and a doctor's medical release. It is offered free of charge to all participants and is open to all survivors within the first year of diagnosis. On the second and fourth Monday of every month, join with others in the Metastatic Cancer Support Group to gain valuable support from others, reduce distress associated with a cancer diagnosis, share treatment and side-effect information, learn ways to improve quality of life, and enhance communication with family, friends, and medical team. This event takes place from 12 - 1pm both virtually and in-person at 1051 Las Tablas Rd. 05:30 PM - 06:30 PM Templeton Hosted @ Cancer Support Community Office. Cancer Support Community in Templeton hosts YSC's Face 2 Face Network Group the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm. YSC Network Groups are local, peer-led in-person groups for young adults affected by cancer. They provide support and resources for young adults at all stages of a cancer diagnosis, treatment or recovery to support, empower and learn from each other. Support groups offer a chance for people to talk about their experiences with others living with cancer to help reduce stress. Participants can share feelings, experiences, discuss treatments and how to communicate with health care providers and family members. So that no one faces cancer alone. May 29, 2025 02:18 PM - 02:48 PM. Join ArtSocial 805 in Paso Robles for their Ladies Night on select Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm. Participants can choose a canvas that they would like to paint and their own image. They can also choose mixed media or watercolor. This will be a night of exploration and a time for Participants to just relax in the studio and make something of their own. Much of this will be self guided although there will be artists on-site who can help. Anyone who would like to paint a pottery piece will be asked to pay for that individual item, but everything else is provided by ArtSocial 805. You're invited to participate in our Newcomer Welcome Group, which takes place from 12 -1 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 1051 Las Tablas Rd. Templeton, CA 93465. This event is led by our Executive Director, Candice Galli. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our services, ask questions, and connect with other newcomers to our community. This presentation is geared toward new participants but if you are an existing participant and want to know about what we do, please feel free to join us for this session.
