Morro Bay Fish and Farmer's Market - Every Thursday 3-5pm at 2650 Main St. and every Saturday 3-6pm on Main Street, between Harbor and Morro. Local growers sell fresh-picked fruit, vegetables, and flowers. Local fish is also available depending on the season.
Cayucos Friday Farmer's Market - Fridays between June 2 and Labor Day Weekend from 10am-12:30pm at the corner of D and Ocean Avenue.
The Lighted Boat Parade will be held on Saturday December 6, 2025 starting at 6:30 p.m. on the Morro Bay Embarcadero. Be dazzled as our fishing, leisure and yachting community takes to the water in decorated boats with bright lights and holiday cheer. Viewing areas are all along the Embarcadero from Tidelands Park at 339 Embarcadero to the Rock. Many restaurants have window seating. Parking and walking to the Embarcadero is encouraged to avoid parking challenges along the waterfront. To view from your car, arrive early, and try Tidelands Park, designated parking along the road to the Rock and Franklin Riley Park at 442 Morro Ave. The Rotary Santa House located near the Giant Chessboard opens at 5:00 p.m. before the parade. Hot chocolate, coffee and cookies with be available the night of the Parade. Morro Bay White Caps Band will play Holiday music at the South T-Pier starting at 5:30 p.m.
There’s nothing like being with friends, old and new, to celebrate a community Christmas Tree Lighting. A warm welcome, carolers, and refreshments make this an evening to savor as the annual tree comes to life. And guess who’s coming to town? Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving by fire engine! Children can look forward to visiting Santa in his quaint Victorian home. When: Sunday, December 8th. Where: Corner of D Street and Ocean Avenue. Time: 5 PM. Fee: free.
