This is an 18+ event, so come prepared for a rewarding day by the ocean, where we’ll work together to keep our coastline clean and healthy. Please come dressed in closed-toed shoes and layers to stay comfortable. We’ll have a water jug, cups, and tasty snacks to keep your energy up, but we encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottles to stay hydrated! April 26 2025 | 11am - 5pm, Meadow Park, San Luis Obispo, CA. Planned in partnership with SLO Climate Coalition, SLO EarthFest is a community-driven event held at Meadow Park in SLO. It promotes climate action through education, connection, and celebration, featuring local leaders, innovators, and community members. The festival includes live music, a kids' zone, wellness activities, an electric vehicle showcase, a sustainable makers market, and a climate solutions stage with expert panels. June 7 2025 | 9am-noon. Central Coast Aquarium, 50 San Juan St, Avila Beach, CA. Join us for a World Oceans Day cleanup at Avila Beach! Check-in begins at 9:00 AM at the Central Coast Aquarium, where we'll divide into groups and head out to three cleanup locations, each with a Site Captain. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring layers. We’ll provide a water jug, cups, and snacks, but feel free to bring your own reusable water bottle. Take breaks as needed, and stay hydrated! We’ll supply gloves, buckets, and trash grabbers, but you’re welcome to bring your own tools -just make sure they’re clearly labeled. Note: Please register for only one location on the registration! We can’t wait to clean up Avila Beach with you!

Join us for an exciting day of hands-on nature fun as part of June’s ECO Challenge – 30 Days of Nature! We’re heading to the beautiful SLO Botanical Garden to help nurture and maintain this incredible space. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a first-timer, all you need is a positive attitude and a love for nature—we’ll take care of the rest! We’ll provide gloves, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Just don’t forget to pack water, pruners (if you have them), sunscreen, and sturdy closed-toed shoes for a day of digging in the dirt. Let’s roll up our sleeves, get our hands dirty, and make the garden thrive together. We can’t wait to see you there!
