The meal serving position is the backbone of the ECHO Meal Program. It involves light food preparation and passing out meals. This position is set in a kitchen environment, so please wear closed-toe shoes. Be ready to smile and interact with our nightly dinner clients. 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM (1.5 hours) at 6370 Atascadero Avenue, Atascadero, CA 93422. Volunteers in this role set up a table with hygiene products and towels at 3:45 PM in order to be ready to sign folks up at 4 PM when the site opens to the public. At 4 PM, guests will begin to arrive and volunteers sign up interested individuals for the shower program, and make sure they have a towel and shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The last shower guest can enter at 5:15 PM and needs to be out of the shower at 5:30 PM.
