The Weedwhackers – A Gardening Group Love getting your hands in the dirt and making things grow? Join The Weedwhackers! This fun-loving gardening group meets one Saturday a month to tackle small gardening projects around the church and in the community—all while building friendships and sharing plenty of laughter. This is a group for anyone and everyone, whether you have a green thumb or just enjoy being outside and connecting with great people. We are so excited about Camp Highlands 2025 at V6 Ranch in Parkfield, California (about 40 minute drive from Paso Robles).The V6 Ranch is the ultimate horse camp for people visiting the Central Coast. It has bathrooms available, a dining hall, an incredible fire pit, and amazing camping sites all under a beautiful shady canopy of Oak Trees. The stars at night are unbelievable and the sense of community and fellowship is something anyone and everyone will fall in love with. This event takes place from May 30, 2025 at 6pm - Jun 1, 2025 at 7pm at V6 Ranch (70410 Parkfield-Coalinga Rd, Parkfield, CA 93451) Anyone (young or old!) can attend. (Adults: $75, Kids: $25). We are providing tent camping and trailer/RV spots for you and your family to choose from. All the spots are located under the canopy of a beautiful Oak Forest. All meals are included, but we are asking everyone to bring something to share for a big camp potluck on the first evening. There are no stoves, but there is a large BBQ that we will have lit and ready for whatever you want to put on it. This monthly gathering is a wonderful chance to enjoy delicious food, meaningful fellowship, and an engaging talk by our guest speaker, designed to encourage and inspire you. Come as you are—whether you're reconnecting with friends, meeting new ones, or bringing a guest, this event is open to all. It’s the perfect way to start your day with laughter, conversation, and community. There’s no charge for breakfast, but donations are always appreciated to help cover costs.
