April 25-27, 2025. Join us for a high-flying weekend of family fun at the Morro Bay Kite Festival! This beloved annual event brings together kite flyers of all ages, gathered in the beautiful coastal town of Morro Bay to enjoy its legendary kite-flying wind. Schedule: Flying begins with Friday Night Flight at dark on Friday and continues all day Saturday and Sunday. Kite flying will be dependent on weather and candy drops will happen twice on Saturday and Sunday, weather dependent.
