August 14-17, 2025 Thursday – Saturday 9:00am – 4pm & Sunday 9am – noon. From foundation to final, learn to design and build your own unique & beautiful piece of focal garden art. Your sculptural stack may include lamps, ceramic pots, found objects, driftwood, as well as pre-made, ready-to-mosaic polystyrene/concrete forms. There will also be time to add mosaic to some of the forms. Each lamp stack will be completely portable for easy re-assembling at your home or site. Including the base, the height of a stack can vary: A “full stack” up to 7 ft, a “half stack” up to 5 ½ ft, and a “short stack” 4 ft. After registration you will receive a detailed email that will provide helpful information on how to prepare for the workshop and to begin your search for possible objects to incorporate. October 18, 2025 Sat 10 AM – 5 PM. Price: $250. In this ONE-DAY INTENSIVE WORKSHOP, you’ll create a 12” x 18” Organic Mosaic Assemblage for wall display. No grout will be applied. It will be self grouted in a bed of thin set mortar. We will offer insights into the setting techniques and the unique details that define this mosaic style. Materials may include special pieces you’ve collected, along with unique tesserae and one of a kind items we’ve been saving just for this class.
