Casual chess (clocks are optional) is available on Tuesday evenings at the Whole Foods Cafe area starting around 6PM! Whole Foods is located on Los Osos Valley Road near Home Depot. There is food and drink available for purchase, if desired, but it is not required.

Nipomo Library Chess Club meets monthly on the third Friday from 2 to 4:30 pm at the Nipomo Public Library at 918 West Tefft in Nipomo.

Firestone Brewery has a great venue for those North County people looking for casual chess on Friday evenings. Look for the chess players starting around 6PM.

Join us Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Big Board (literally a giant chess board!) located on the Embarcadero at the west end of Morro Bay Blvd (go down the stairs) for casual chess games. One of the most amazing places to play chess in all of the world! Located on the Morro Bay embarcadero near great shopping and great views. Come early for the best parking (it's free).
