Volunteering with the SLO Village movement is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of older adults in our community. By volunteering, you can assist with a variety of meaningful tasks, from providing direct support to older adults in their homes to helping our office staff with administrative duties, developing new programs, and participating in social events that bring joy to our members. We value every volunteer and look forward to learning more about you and how you can contribute to our mission. Volunteer opportunities at SLO Village include providing transportation to personal and medical appointments, technology support, assisting with simple tasks around the home or yard such as light weeding, grocery shopping, making courtesy calls, and other in-person activities that directly support our members. Additionally, there are opportunities to volunteer behind the scenes, contributing to operations through office assistance, event planning, social media management, and much more.
