It incorporates a mixture of feeding, drilling, rally games, and competitive live ball. The end of class is devoted to matchplay. Clinic space is limited. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Support groups offer a chance for people to talk about their experiences with others living with cancer to help reduce stress. Participants can share feelings, experiences, discuss treatments and how to communicate with health care providers and family members. So that no one faces cancer alone. (Juniors can become a tennis member for just $40/month.) Green Ball builds on the fundamentals developed in prior clinics. This clinic emphasizes consistency and technique. Students are introduced to the different types of spin, first and second serves, ad scoring, and some basic tennis strategies. The goal of the clinic is to sustain a rally with a partner and play a full match with ad scoring.
