The mission of the St. William’s Parish Altar Society is to increase and nurture the spiritual development of its members and the church community through Lenten and Advent retreats, monthly Altar Society programs, and prayer. In addition, we care for the altar and church, and support and promote activities for the betterment of the parish. All members of the parish, both men and women, are invited to join. Being a member of the Altar Society is a great way to meet and build relationships with other members of the parish. We meet on the first Saturday of each month at the Parish.

We are looking for volunteers to help with Vacation Bible School, which is a weeklong program in the summer, that usually takes place the week after school classes end in June. VBS, as it is called, runs from 9am-Noon, Monday - Friday. We need help with age group leaders, crafts, music, snacks, and games, as well as assistance with set up and take down. You can also volunteer to be on the VBS Committee which meets monthly for a few months before June. This is a great committee to join as there are many pieces to this VBS Week and we welcome all ideas and help to bring this event to fruition.
