Activities

Every Wednesday, from 9:30am to 11:30am, Zion Lutheran church provides free food distribution to the needy, whether it's the USDA food from the federal government via SLO Food bank (every 3rd Wednesday), or free food provided by our generous volunteers every Wednesday. Please feel free to come if you are in need! Contact zion@zionslo.com for information about volunteering.

Children Sunday School is held at Zion Lutheran Church every Sunday from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Adult members of the congregation gather to study the Bible and deepen their understanding of Christian teachings.

Bunco is a simple, fast-paced game played in groups, making it a fun and interactive way for people to connect, build friendships, and enjoy fellowship. It is held every 4th Thursday of the month. 1:00 – 3:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Fellowship Hall-1-Fellowship Hall (150)

A youth group at church is a gathering of young people, typically middle school and high school students, who come together for fellowship, worship, Bible study, and community activities. Every Wednesday, 6:00 – 8:30pm at Zion Lutheran Church.

A Birthday Celebration held to celebrate the birthdays of church members. This event takes place at Zion Lutheran Church on the 1st Sunday of every month from 11:45am – 12:45pm.

The ladies of Zion Lutheran Church gather together on the 2nd Tuesday of every month for a Ladies Lunch to socialize and share a meal together. This event takes place at Spirit of San Luis Restaurant (925 Airport Dr, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401) from 12:00 – 1:00pm.

Pastor's Bible Study @ Las Brisas is an opportunity for participants to explore biblical teachings, engage in discussions, and grow in their faith under the guidance of a pastor. Every Monday, 11:00am – 12:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church

College Night is a perfect opportunity fot young adults to gather together and grow in their faith. Every Tuesday, 6:30 – 8:30pm at Zion Lutheran Church

A College and Career Monthly BBQ at church is a recurring social event designed for young adults, typically those in college or starting their careers. Hosted by the church, this gathering provides a relaxed environment where attendees can enjoy food, fellowship, and faith-based discussions. Zion Lutheran Church hosts this event on the last Sunday of every month from 12:00 – 1:00pm.
