Every Sunday, 10:00am to 1:30pm at Laguna Lake Park, 504 Madonna Road, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. We are looking for volunteers to serve alongside our Parks and Recreation Ranger Service Division to build dirt jumps under the guidance and supervision of City staff. This is a community-driven pilot project and volunteers play a crucial role in the ongoing success of the bike park; once construction is complete, ongoing maintenance will be performed by volunteers. Tasks are generally consistent week-to-week with any significant variation communicated to volunteers with ample notice. Service days typically involve using hand tools (e.g., shovels, picks, hoes, rakes, etc.) to shape the park and form the course through building out features. A Warm & Welcoming Place. Every Sunday: 10:00 am - 11:00 am. For young people up to the age of 20. Each Sunday School teacher prayerfully studies the Bible Lesson for the week. Following this study, the teacher prepares a class lesson appropriate to the ages of the children within the class. These lessons emphasize God's goodness and that God is LOVE itself. From this foundation, the children learn how they can trust and reach out to their God for help in any situation.

July 8-10, 2025. 10am-12pm. For ages 6-12. Are you ready to get messy? We will be learning about printmaking tools & techniques that are sure to make a big impresson! Students will create a series of their own pop art style relief prints. We will also try Gyotaku, a traditional form of Japanese printing with real fish and seaweed on rice paper. $120/week includes all supplies and snacks. Our surf lessons are available year-round! We offer Morro Bay surf lessons at all ages, skill, and ability levels; we have four primary categories: Fundamental, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. Lessons are 1.5 hours long and provide all the gear you need, including Surfboard, Wetsuit, and Instructor. All surf lessons are private, so it will be just you, your family or friends and the instructor. Lesson start times are 10 am, 12:15 pm, and 2:30 pm. We teach surf lessons in Morro Bay everyday. We also teach surf lessons in Cayucos as well. All of our surfing locations are between 18-22 minutes west of San Luis Obispo. Depending on current surf conditions, location may vary to make sure we are surfing the best waves possible. Prices range from $75-120 per lesson. Children’s Ministry (birth-6th grade) meets every Sunday morning, during the regular worship service at Oak Park Christian Church at 10 am. We provide age-appropriate teachings and activities for children. Parents may check children in at the CM Check-In Kiosk.
Children K-5th will join us in the 10:00am Church Service during our worship in song and then be dismissed to Sunday School, upstairs in the fellowship hall. Nursery and Pre-school (Babies to 4 yrs.) childcare will be available in the downstairs fellowship hall from 10:00am to the end of the church service. Please feel free to place your child in the nursery before Sunday church service or anytime thereafter.
