Project Surf Camp (PSC) is a charitable organization designed to educate individuals with special needs. Our mission is to build self confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy, and we provide opportunities to build social skills, improve physical fitness, develop healthy outlets for stress reduction, and foster independence.Our surf camps take place from June 11,2025 - July 12, 2025 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Camp days are split into half-day sessions of 4-hours each.We focus on specialist intervention and providing individual feedback and support. Camps will be held at Morro Rock Beach near the Morro Creek outlet (Arrive first at Coleman Park on the Embarcadero, along the Harbor Walk, and we will caravan together to the beach). Mon, Jul 7, 2025 to Fri, Jul 18, 2025. 2 SESSIONS - EACH 1 WEEK LONG. Daily schedule runs from 9 am - 3pm. Campers will travel by foot and kayak across their local watersheds, immersing themselves in the headwaters to estuaries! This summer, we’ll be exploring North Coast SLO County (Los Osos to Harmony including western slopes off routes 41 and 46). Drop-off and pick-up will be at the same central location Monday-Friday at Cloisters Community Park in Morro Bay. From here, our Guides will drive campers to a new location each day. Specific adventure location location pins and recommended packing lists will be sent to the group in an introduction email 2 weeks prior to your session start date. Fees: $550 per camper. We’ll talk about invisible things and how to make them visible, create invisible ink pens, and build a black light art gallery. Our surf lessons are available year-round! We offer Morro Bay surf lessons at all ages, skill, and ability levels; we have four primary categories: Fundamental, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. Lessons are 1.5 hours long and provide all the gear you need, including Surfboard, Wetsuit, and Instructor. All surf lessons are private, so it will be just you, your family or friends and the instructor. Lesson start times are 10 am, 12:15 pm, and 2:30 pm. We teach surf lessons in Morro Bay everyday. We also teach surf lessons in Cayucos as well. All of our surfing locations are between 18-22 minutes west of San Luis Obispo. Every Monday. 10:30 AM-11:45 AM (75 min). Move at a pace linked to your breath, your rhythm. The pace is slow, intentional, listening to your body. This class is for all levels and includes a sound bath. Slow does not mean easy. In fact, slowing down can challenge your mind and body as you are invited to focus on the breath, stay in postures for enough time to observe the flow of energy they create.
