All Jr. High and High School students are invited to join our youth group. We teach through the Word of God, book by book in order that the youth receive the full counsel of God. We also recognize a need to teach topical at times knowing that this is an age in which these youth are presented with many tough choices and issues like peer pressure, dating, evolution and many other topics that arise in a young teen’s life. With these issues and choices before a junior higher’s path, it’s through the Word of God and the leading of His Spirit that a young teen can find his/her way. As a group we want to be doers of the Word and not just hearers. This group meets Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8 in the Youth Room.

These remarks share how the teachings of Christ Jesus are practical in one's own life. The inspiration and love shared in these healing meetings bring blessings to all. We recommend arriving 30-45 minutes early if you do not have a reservation.** 1) Pick your team of up to 6 people - letting us know how many people are on your team will help us reserve a table that comfortably fits all of you! 2) Ticket will reserve a spot for up to 6 people to play trivia - to help us accommodate everyone please give answer pre-visit questions to the best of your ability! 3) We have food now! We ask that you please do not bring outside food. When hundreds of students line up anywhere on a college campus, there must be free food. Every Wednesday night of the school year, Front Porch has community volunteers make a delicious and free meal and an optional trivia game going on. While we invite you to eat food and stay, the food is served on to-go plates so you can leave whenever you need. These delicious dinners have been described as “the most family-like feel you can get away from home.” They’re just like the biggest, loudest, most diverse family holiday ever! We truly believe there is something special about sharing a meal together.
If you love music, we have two groups that help enhance our worship services all year round. Both groups meet on Wednesday evenings. Church Choir meets at 7 p.m. (at First Presbyterian Church SLO)
