Friends of the Elephant Seal docents are volunteer guides who are happy to answer your questions and help you to better understand your observations at the Piedras Blancas rookery. We are open to volunteers who live in the area full-time and are flexible in working with out-of-town residents who can commit to a once a month Central Coast weekend. After completing training, docents are also invited to participate in other volunteer opportunities, such as serving as a Visitor Center Guide, providing outreach through the Speakers Bureau or collaborating with the Community Science team. Our youth are a vital part of our church family. We encourage their involvement in our Sunday services through serving on the worship team, making coffee, greeting people, and helping with set up and tear down. On the first and third Sundays, there is a class called “Transformed Discipleship” for the youth. After worship, they head down to the youth room for a small group teaching on what it means and looks like to be a follower of Jesus.Bi-monthly there is a Youth and Young Adult Home group hosted by Dan and Shanon Waybright on Saturday nights. Process Art & STEAM focus on making, experimenting, and discovering. Children K-5th will join us in the 10:00am Church Service during our worship in song and then be dismissed to Sunday School, upstairs in the fellowship hall. Nursery and Pre-school (Babies to 4 yrs.) childcare will be available in the downstairs fellowship hall from 10:00am to the end of the church service. Please feel free to place your child in the nursery before Sunday church service or anytime thereafter.

Saturday, November 8 from 10am till 5pm & Sunday November 9 from 10am till 4pm. Join us at Paso Robles Downtown City Park (East end of the park on Spring Street and 12th Street - Paso Robles, Ca.) for an art show that offers artists and crafts people a high quality outdoor setting to display and sell their wares to an appreciative audience.
