Every Thursday @ 8:30 AM. Hatha refers to the physical practice of yoga. Classes focus on breathwork, postures, relaxation, and meditation. This is an excellent class to learn the foundations of yoga in a safe and supportive environment. Postures are held for an extended period to ensure proper alignment, build strength, and flexibility. Join us in the fight against hunger as a Warehouse Volunteer and play a vital role in supporting the SLO Food Bank's mission to provide nutritious food to families in need across our community. By assisting our dedicated Warehouse Staff, you'll help ensure that fresh produce, pantry staples, and no-cook items reach those who need them most. Shower the People (STP) is a mobile shower program that provides free hot showers and new underwear and socks, toothpaste/toothbrushes and combs to the homeless in San Luis Obispo and in Grover Beach. We’ll design custom buttons and patches, make zines, dye t-shirts, and more. It’s a blend of hands-on making and creative prompts to encourage kids to express who they are in their own way. Project Surf Camp (PSC) is a charitable organization designed to educate individuals with special needs. Our mission is to build self confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy, and we provide opportunities to build social skills, improve physical fitness, develop healthy outlets for stress reduction, and foster independence.Our surf camps take place from June 11,2025 - July 12, 2025 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Camp days are split into half-day sessions of 4-hours each.We focus on specialist intervention and providing individual feedback and support. Camps will be held at Morro Rock Beach near the Morro Creek outlet (Arrive first at Coleman Park on the Embarcadero, along the Harbor Walk, and we will caravan together to the beach).
