Based on Sun Style Tai Chi, this program uses flowing movements to increase muscular strength and protect joints. Good for those with arthritis and anyone wishing for more flexibility. Class includes warm-up exercises and movement sequences in an innovative teaching format that helps facilitate safe learning. Tai Chi may be performed in a chair or walker. Instructor, Dr. Kathryn Phelan, will facilitate this class combining a decade of teaching and research experience. Home-School Co-op (Mondays @ 1:00 - 3:30 pm) This program is for families who’ve chosen to educate their children at home. Parents and staff work together to provide opportunities for kids to interact and enjoy educational activities, socialization, spiritual growth and parental forums.
Jun 16, 2025 - Jun 20, 2025. Monday to Friday. Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm. This class is for ages 6-8. Location: 3533 Empleo St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. This one-week musical theatre camp is open to all experience levels. Along with theatre and improv games, students will sing, dance, and act as they work together to bring to life an abridged version of a popular musical. The class will end with a celebratory sharing for family and friends. Please note that repeated titles will be adapted for that class’ age range. This class will end with a “sharing” for family and friends on Friday, June 20. Because a good portion of our camp time will be spent preparing for the sharing, daily attendance is strongly encouraged. The Teen Center is a free facility featuring video games, music, pool table, small cafe and much more. Located between Georgia Brown Dual Immersion Program and Paso Robles High School, the center is easily accessible to our young community members. The Teen Center is open to ages 6th through 12th grades and also enjoys access to the adjacent full-court gymnasium for drop-in basketball and other sports! The Teen Center is a non-custodial program. Participants will sign in but staff does not track when they come and go. Hours: Monday: Gym is open from 1:30pm-5pm, Teen Center from 2pm-5pm; Tuesday through Thursday: Gym is open from 2:30pm-5pm, Teen Center from 3pm-5pm. Location: Centennial Park (located inside Gym building) at 600 Nickerson Drive, Paso Robles.

This is an ecumenical group of women & men who provide emergency food service on weekdays from 2-4:00 p.m. at 192B South 9th street & Rockaway, Grover Beach. Volunteers also work weekday mornings to receive & stock food. Coordinator: Fern Schilt 481-2877.
Every Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm-5:00pm at the SLO YMCA. Not only does basketball provide a significant amount of aerobic exercise and a full-body workout, but it's also a community of players coming together for the joy of the sport. So, grab your basketball and be part of the action because the court is waiting, and the game is open to all who are ready to play. The Teen Center is located inside the Colony Park Community Center. In addition to offering a variety of fun games and sports for teens from 6th grade to 12th grade, including air hockey, pool, ping pong, Xbox, movies, boardgames, dodgeball and basketball. Staff at the Teen Center also run activities and play games with the teens daily. Teen Center membership is only $20/year and scholarships are available.
