Join us in the fight against hunger as a Warehouse Volunteer and play a vital role in supporting the SLO Food Bank's mission to provide nutritious food to families in need across our community. By assisting our dedicated Warehouse Staff, you'll help ensure that fresh produce, pantry staples, and no-cook items reach those who need them most. Tues and Thurs from 12:40 - 1:30 PM in the deep end of the therapy pool at SLO Swim Center. Aqua Pilates is an introduction to core-centered (abdominal muscles and Lower back) poses and positions that help with posture, balance, and flexibility. All the movements are based on the principles of concentration, control, fluid movements, precise breathing, and strengthening of the torso. Participants are led through a progressive routine that continues to challenge them as they increase their strength and flexibility. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is available from 1-6:45 p.m. on Thursdays in the Church. Participants spend time in worship, prayer, reflection & adoration of Our Lord. At least three volunteers per hour provide scheduled coverage. Coordinator: Bernice Gamble.

Jun 16, 2025 - Jun 20, 2025. Monday to Friday. Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm. This class is for ages 6-8. Location: 3533 Empleo St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. This one-week musical theatre camp is open to all experience levels. Along with theatre and improv games, students will sing, dance, and act as they work together to bring to life an abridged version of a popular musical. The class will end with a celebratory sharing for family and friends. Please note that repeated titles will be adapted for that class’ age range. This class will end with a “sharing” for family and friends on Friday, June 20. Because a good portion of our camp time will be spent preparing for the sharing, daily attendance is strongly encouraged. Join us in the Green Room at Cambria Center for the Arts on the 4th Thursday of every month from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm to draw/paint in the company of fellow artists. You will need to bring your own supplies, including an easel and drop cloth if painting. This event has no instructor. Artists simply gather to draw or paint and support each other throughout the session. A still life will be provided. There is a $10 fee to benefit CCA. (CCA members free)

Adults 55+ are invited to the SLO Senior Center (1445 Santa Rosa St.) every Thursday from 1-3:30 pm to embark on the captivating journey of learning Chinese Mahjong. Attendance is free and novices are wholeheartedly invited to join in and explore the intricacies of the game. This welcoming environment is tailored for beginners, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for those new to the game. Come and be part of the fun as you delve into the fascinating world of Mahjong, where camaraderie and skillful play converge for an enriching experience.

On the second and fourth Thursday of every month from 1 - 2pm, the Cancer Support Community California Central Coast hosts a virtual support group. Support groups offer a chance for people to talk about their experiences with others living with cancer to help reduce stress. Participants can share feelings, experiences, discuss treatments and how to communicate with health care providers and family members. So that no one faces cancer alone. Every Thursday. 1:00 – 3:00pm, Morro Bay Senior Citizens, Inc., organizes the great Italian game of Bocce. It's easy to play, so come have fun, make friends and enjoy our new bocce ball courts. All ability levels are welcome. We met at the Bocce Ball courts at the corner of Shasta and Dunes in Morro Bay.

The Teen Center is a free facility featuring video games, music, pool table, small cafe and much more. Located between Georgia Brown Dual Immersion Program and Paso Robles High School, the center is easily accessible to our young community members. The Teen Center is open to ages 6th through 12th grades and also enjoys access to the adjacent full-court gymnasium for drop-in basketball and other sports! The Teen Center is a non-custodial program. Participants will sign in but staff does not track when they come and go. Hours: Monday: Gym is open from 1:30pm-5pm, Teen Center from 2pm-5pm; Tuesday through Thursday: Gym is open from 2:30pm-5pm, Teen Center from 3pm-5pm. Jun 15, 2025 - Jun 29, 2025. For ages 5 - 9. Junior Guard Bootcamp will be held on Sundays from 1:30pm - 2:30pm. Bootcamp focuses on participant getting back in the water, building strokes and treading water all while having fun! This is not a replacement for beginner swim lessons. Morro Bay Recreation has a no refund policy. Activity meeting dates: Session 4 - June 15th, 22nd, and 29th JG Boot Camp will focus on getting back in the water, building swimming skills, improve treading water techniques, while having fun!
