Our youth are a vital part of our church family. We encourage their involvement in our Sunday services through serving on the worship team, making coffee, greeting people, and helping with set up and tear down. On the first and third Sundays, there is a class called “Transformed Discipleship” for the youth. After worship, they head down to the youth room for a small group teaching on what it means and looks like to be a follower of Jesus.Bi-monthly there is a Youth and Young Adult Home group hosted by Dan and Shanon Waybright on Saturday nights. Children’s Church: Sunday mornings, 10:00 a.m. The Bible teaches that children are a gift of the Lord (Psalm 127:3). They are a treasure entrusted to us to steward and shepherd. All children are made in the image of God and capable of knowing God, serving God, and bringing Him glory at an early age. All ministry to children is an eternal investment. No effort is ever wasted in ministering to children. For this reason, the mission of the Children’s Ministry at Berean Bible Church is to partner with parents to help children come to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. Parents are the primary shepherds of their children, but as the church, it’s our job and desire to come alongside parents, both equipping and assisting them to model and share Christ with their children. Godly parents assisted by the local church are the primary means God uses to train up children in the way they should go. We aim to be intentional in our Children’s Ministry. Children are a delight, so ministering to them should be full of fun. But any Children’s Ministry that is only fun and games is missing the point. This is ministry—a gospel ministry—where the saving news of Jesus Christ is to be implanted in their hearts at an early age. Though Children’s Ministry should be full of fun, at Berean Bible Church we aim to never lose sight of what matters most, which is showing them Christ. Children’s Church Our Sunday morning Children’s Ministry is anchored by Children’s Church, a time of instruction led by the men of the church. Using the Generations of Grace Sunday school curriculum, which takes children completely through the Bible every three years. After Children’s Church, our kids break up into classrooms by age where adult leaders guide them through discussion, crafts, activities, and games that all help reinforce the central truth of that morning’s Bible lesson. for more info: For more information about our Children’s Ministries, contact Pastor Christopher Johnson at chris@bereanbibleag.com.
