Project Surf Camp (PSC) is a charitable organization designed to educate individuals with special needs. Our mission is to build self confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy, and we provide opportunities to build social skills, improve physical fitness, develop healthy outlets for stress reduction, and foster independence.Our surf camps take place from June 11,2025 - July 12, 2025 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Camp days are split into half-day sessions of 4-hours each.We focus on specialist intervention and providing individual feedback and support. Camps will be held at Morro Rock Beach near the Morro Creek outlet (Arrive first at Coleman Park on the Embarcadero, along the Harbor Walk, and we will caravan together to the beach). Students will create a series of their own pop art style relief prints. Our surf lessons are available year-round! We offer Morro Bay surf lessons at all ages, skill, and ability levels; we have four primary categories: Fundamental, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. Lessons are 1.5 hours long and provide all the gear you need, including Surfboard, Wetsuit, and Instructor. All surf lessons are private, so it will be just you, your family or friends and the instructor. Lesson start times are 10 am, 12:15 pm, and 2:30 pm. We teach surf lessons in Morro Bay everyday. We also teach surf lessons in Cayucos as well. All of our surfing locations are between 18-22 minutes west of San Luis Obispo. This deliciously meditative and rejuvenating Therapeutic Yoga class offers breath-based gentle movements, therapeutically strengthening asana and core work, breath and energy work, guided meditation, yoga Nidra, a touch of Chi Gong, sprinkles of chanting and songs, and deep relaxation with ample moments of Beingness. It is perfect for nervous system regulation, intentional rehab and general body care, and time to connect with the Self. Every Thursday. 1:00 – 3:00pm, Morro Bay Senior Citizens, Inc., organizes the great Italian game of Bocce. It's easy to play, so come have fun, make friends and enjoy our new bocce ball courts. All ability levels are welcome. We met at the Bocce Ball courts at the corner of Shasta and Dunes in Morro Bay.

Bootcamp focuses on participant getting back in the water, building strokes and treading water all while having fun! This is not a replacement for beginner swim lessons. Morro Bay Recreation has a no refund policy. It’s the ultimate treat for your body, nervous system, subtle energy and consciousness. Yin yoga consists of gentle and meditative floor-based postures that are held for several minutes. Props are used to support the body to create an accessible practice for all. Yin yoga is calming to the nervous system, supports deep release of connective tissues and helps improve the flow of subtle energy throughout the body’s pathways or meridians. After opening up the pathways of the body you will be guided through a yoga nidra meditation, a rotation of consciousness inducing a ‘yogic sleep’ a deep meditative space between wakefulness and sleeping where you can access the subconscious parts of your mind. Class concludes with a blissful sound bath savasana, creating a complete and restful practice. Physical postures, breathing practices and chanting are used to positively impact the flow of energy in the body.
