The ladies of Zion Lutheran Church gather together on the 2nd Tuesday of every month for a Ladies Lunch to socialize and share a meal together. This event takes place at Spirit of San Luis Restaurant (925 Airport Dr, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401) from 12:00 – 1:00pm.
Tues and Thurs from 12:40 - 1:30 PM in the deep end of the therapy pool at SLO Swim Center. Aqua Pilates is an introduction to core-centered (abdominal muscles and Lower back) poses and positions that help with posture, balance, and flexibility. All the movements are based on the principles of concentration, control, fluid movements, precise breathing, and strengthening of the torso. Participants are led through a progressive routine that continues to challenge them as they increase their strength and flexibility. Are you interested in helping to provide food for low income families in our community? ALF Food Pantry is in need of volunteers to to hand out pre-filled boxes and produce to clients. Volunteers self schedule and there are no minimum requirements. Food distribution to clients is 1 - 3PM Monday through Friday, and shifts for baggers are 12:45 to 3:15PM. This class if for YMCA members and takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-6:30 pm in Studio 2. This class will emphasize core strength, flexibility, balance, and concentration. The class is for all levels, including beginners. You'll be guaranteed to leave class in a positive state of spirit, mind and body.
Casual chess (clocks are optional) is available on Tuesday evenings at the Whole Foods Cafe area starting around 6PM! Whole Foods is located on Los Osos Valley Road near Home Depot. There is food and drink available for purchase, if desired, but it is not required.

This class is for high-intermediate through advanced dancers studying a minimum of two ballet classes per week (Ballet 3 & up). We are a safe place for trans* and gender non-conforming people, as well as those questioning. The group is restricted to those between the ages of 11 and 18. This is a facilitated informal support group (not therapy) where we hold fund, safe space for trans and non-binary youth. It is a safe place to be heard, to share your story, and to hear stories that may sound surprisingly like your own, to eat snacks, play games, socialize, and hang out.
