Welcome to EmoFlo Yoga, where we practice ancient healing movement, breath work, and grounding postures for flexibility, balance, body compassion and nervous system regulation. Every Wednesday 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM (2 hours) at 1180 Kendall Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Join us in the fight against hunger as a Warehouse Volunteer and play a vital role in supporting the SLO Food Bank's mission to provide nutritious food to families in need across our community. By assisting our dedicated Warehouse Staff, you'll help ensure that fresh produce, pantry staples, and no-cook items reach those who need them most. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns about the physical demands of this shift. Are you interested in helping to provide food for low income families in our community? ALF Food Pantry is in need of volunteers to to hand out pre-filled boxes and produce to clients. Volunteers self schedule and there are no minimum requirements. Food distribution to clients is 1 - 3PM Monday through Friday, and shifts for baggers are 12:45 to 3:15PM. Use It or Lose It! This class is a combination of learning and socializing for adults 55+. Taught by a Cuesta College Emeritus instructor, this class uses discussions, worksheets, and TED Talks to cover an eclectic array of topics with the goal of keeping your brain active! A level of commitment and regular attendance is recommended. This event is held weekly on Wednesdays from 1-3pm at SLO Senior Center (1445 Santa Rosa St.) and attendance is free.

UUSLO provides free food to those in need every Wednesday from 3 to 4:30 pm in the Social Hall. We provide a pantry service where people may choose from the products available that week. Member volunteers run the pantry. The team takes care of: picking up bulk amounts of food from the Food Bank and delivering to UUSLO (a truck or van is helpful), setting it up on tables for people to choose what they want, guiding people as they arrive and go through food area, cleaning the area afterwards (putting tables away, wiping counters, etc). Every Wednesday from 4:30– 7:00pm at First Presbyterian Church SLO. Wednesdays at the Rock is a free program for kids in 6th grade or younger. Each week we will have Bible Lessons, Music, Crafts, Gym Time, Dinner, and Fellowship. Service opportunities will also be a part of our program. Wednesdays at the Rock is a safe place for all kids. This year we will have two groups. Group 1 will be for the younger kids and Group 2 will be for the older kids. We will spend time together and time for each group to have age-appropriate activities. All kids are welcome!
