July 1-3, 2025. 10am-12pm. For Ages 6-12. Using textiles like fabric, yarn, paper and natural or synthetic material, fiber art connects with other cultures & exercises fine motor skills. Our surf lessons are available year-round! We offer Morro Bay surf lessons at all ages, skill, and ability levels; we have four primary categories: Fundamental, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. Lessons are 1.5 hours long and provide all the gear you need, including Surfboard, Wetsuit, and Instructor. All surf lessons are private, so it will be just you, your family or friends and the instructor. Lesson start times are 10 am, 12:15 pm, and 2:30 pm. We teach surf lessons in Morro Bay everyday. We also teach surf lessons in Cayucos as well. All of our surfing locations are between 18-22 minutes west of San Luis Obispo. Depending on current surf conditions, location may vary to make sure we are surfing the best waves possible. Prices range from $75-120 per lesson. Students will create a series of their own pop art style relief prints. We will also try Gyotaku, a traditional form of Japanese printing with real fish and seaweed on rice paper. $120/week includes all supplies and snacks. Equipping young people for life through faith in Jesus Christ. Junior High and High School youth meets every Tuesday at The Estuary (1375 E Grand Ave, Arroyo Grande) from 6:30pm - 8:00pm and every Sunday at The Clark Center (Church) at 10:00AM for worship and then breakout after announcements.

Tuesday Mornings at 10:00am in Fellowship Hall. Join us for this Intro to Strength Training class focused on core strength, stability, and mobility. This class is open to all ages and fitness levels. We will incorporate a mixture of challenging floor exercises, light dumbbells and resistance bands. All exercises can be modified to accommodate for any past injuries or current limitations. The goal is to make progress from your current starting point. You can start now, there is no reason to wait! Each session is drop in but it’s great to RSVP so Shahrad can plan accordingly. Friends of the Elephant Seal docents are volunteer guides who are happy to answer your questions and help you to better understand your observations at the Piedras Blancas rookery. We are open to volunteers who live in the area full-time and are flexible in working with out-of-town residents who can commit to a once a month Central Coast weekend. After completing training, docents are also invited to participate in other volunteer opportunities, such as serving as a Visitor Center Guide, providing outreach through the Speakers Bureau or collaborating with the Community Science team.
