Every Wednesday. 7:15 PM-8:15 PM (60 min). Wind down from the day and the week with this grounding, relaxing yoga class and sound bath. Yin yoga consists of gentle and meditative floor-based postures that are held for several minutes. Props are used to support the body to create an accessible practice for all. Yin yoga is calming to the nervous system, supports deep release of connective tissues and helps improve the flow of subtle energy throughout the body’s pathways or meridians. Move slowly and mindfully through floor based postures and end class with an extended rest and nourishing sound bath. This class is all levels and is a great way to unwind. Project Surf Camp (PSC) is a charitable organization designed to educate individuals with special needs. Our mission is to build self confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy, and we provide opportunities to build social skills, improve physical fitness, develop healthy outlets for stress reduction, and foster independence.Our surf camps take place from June 11,2025 - July 12, 2025 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Camp days are split into half-day sessions of 4-hours each.We focus on specialist intervention and providing individual feedback and support. Camps will be held at Morro Rock Beach near the Morro Creek outlet (Arrive first at Coleman Park on the Embarcadero, along the Harbor Walk, and we will caravan together to the beach). Our surf lessons are available year-round! We offer Morro Bay surf lessons at all ages, skill, and ability levels; we have four primary categories: Fundamental, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. Lessons are 1.5 hours long and provide all the gear you need, including Surfboard, Wetsuit, and Instructor. All surf lessons are private, so it will be just you, your family or friends and the instructor. Lesson start times are 10 am, 12:15 pm, and 2:30 pm. We teach surf lessons in Morro Bay everyday. We also teach surf lessons in Cayucos as well. All of our surfing locations are between 18-22 minutes west of San Luis Obispo. This small group gathering provides support for expectant and postpartum parents/caregivers in nurturing their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We’ll create a safe space where attendees can connect, reflect, and grow through their shared and lived experience of pregnancy into parenthood. The group meets in the natural setting of the Children’s Garden at the SLO Botanical Garden. This event will offer guest speakers, guided journaling, peer support, and facilitated discussions, all rooted in evidence-based care and holistic wellness. Registration is $60. Level 1 Swim Lessons -- Beginners. July 1st - July 11th @ 12:35pm Tuesday - Friday (We will be closed Friday July 4th in observance of the holiday). Location: Morro Bay High School Aquatics Center. For kids 3-6. Level 1 - This level is for swimmers to get used to the water and learn life saving safety skills. Skills practiced include entering and exiting the water safely, blowing bubbles, submerging under water, back float supported to unsupported, front float supported to unsupported, gliding. Lessons will be 30 minutes in length. Lessons will be 1 instructor to 5 participants. $108.00. Every Thursday. 1:00 – 3:00pm, Morro Bay Senior Citizens, Inc., organizes the great Italian game of Bocce. It's easy to play, so come have fun, make friends and enjoy our new bocce ball courts. All ability levels are welcome. We met at the Bocce Ball courts at the corner of Shasta and Dunes in Morro Bay.
