Our surf lessons are available year-round! We offer Morro Bay surf lessons at all ages, skill, and ability levels; we have four primary categories: Fundamental, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced. Lessons are 1.5 hours long and provide all the gear you need, including Surfboard, Wetsuit, and Instructor. All surf lessons are private, so it will be just you, your family or friends and the instructor. Lesson start times are 10 am, 12:15 pm, and 2:30 pm. We teach surf lessons in Morro Bay everyday. We also teach surf lessons in Cayucos as well. All of our surfing locations are between 18-22 minutes west of San Luis Obispo. Depending on current surf conditions, location may vary to make sure we are surfing the best waves possible. Prices range from $75-120 per lesson. Proving the blues isn’t just an old man’s game, Ally Venable is a guitarist and singer who puts a fresh spin on blues-rock traditions. Blessed with a powerful voice that belies her slim stature and a down-and-dirty guitar attack that blends Texas blues with no-frills rock & roll, Venable was just 14 when she cut her debut EP, Wise Man, which earned her a reputation as a rising star in the Lone Star State’s blues community. While stronger rock influences would be heard on later albums such as Puppet Show and Texas Honey, the blues remained Venable’s bread and butter as her precocious talent won her awards and a growing audience. Every Wednesday. 7:15 PM-8:15 PM (60 min). Wind down from the day and the week with this grounding, relaxing yoga class and sound bath. Yin yoga consists of gentle and meditative floor-based postures that are held for several minutes. Props are used to support the body to create an accessible practice for all. Yin yoga is calming to the nervous system, supports deep release of connective tissues and helps improve the flow of subtle energy throughout the body’s pathways or meridians. Move slowly and mindfully through floor based postures and end class with an extended rest and nourishing sound bath. This class is all levels and is a great way to unwind.
