We’re forming a Life Group for young men with one purpose: to hold each other accountable and provide encouragement as we navigate the challenges of lustful desires. While Cal Poly is in session, we hold Shabbat dinners every week. We primarily host students but welcome all community members to join. Erev Shabbat Services are held in our sanctuary Friday evenings at 7:00 pm (Congregation Beth David - 10180 Los Osos Valley Road • San Luis Obispo, California 93405) and broadcast on Zoom for those who prefer to join on-line. Worship is led by Rabbi Micah Hyman. Our Cantorial Soloist Mark Getten accompanies almost all services.
Every 2nd & 4th Friday of the month,you can test out those two left feet and see if you can Do-si-do with the best of them. This event starts at 7pm at KROBAR Craft Distillery, LLC (1701 Monterey St., San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, US). There is a $5 entry fee.
Greeters and ushers, called hospitality ministers, not only welcome people to Mass, but also assist throughout the mass. Most greeters help usher and assist with the collection. With seven masses every weekend and four sets of doors, we can always use ministers! If you enjoy greeting people, like to smile and are a good all-around host, we hope you will offer your service by speaking to one of our greeters or contacting the parish office at (805) 781-8220.
