Every week on Sunday, during the 11am service, we invite kids to join others in their age group to dive deeper into the Word.

Sundays from 11:00 - 11:30 am. Location: Museum of Natural History, 20 State Park Rd, Morro Bay, CA 93442, USA. Where: Morro Bay Museum of Natural History. Children ages 3-6 years old are invited to join State Park educators for a series of summer Ranger Cub Storytime Programs at the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History in Morro Bay State Park! Stories will highlight local wildlife and ecosystems. FREE. Adults must be in attendance with all youth (no drop-offs, please).

Saint Joseph's Parish Library provides reading materials, study aids and spiritual reading material. If you would like to look at the materials in our library, please visit us after Mass on Sundays or call the parish office for an appointment and a library volunteer will be happy to help you. Level 2 Swim Lessons Beginner July 29th - August 8th @ 1:10pm Tuesday - Friday. Location: Morro Bay High School Aquatics Center. Ages 3-6. Price: $120. This level is for swimmers to get used to the water and learn life saving safety skills. We focus on working towards independence. Skills practiced include entering and exiting the water safely, blowing bubbles, submerging under water, moving in back float from supported to unsupported, moving in front float from supported to unsupported, gliding, and beginning steps to freestyle. Lessons will be 30 minutes in length. Lessons will be 1 instructor to 5 participants. Jun 16, 2025 - Jun 20, 2025. Monday to Friday. Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm. This class is for ages 6-8. Location: 3533 Empleo St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. This one-week musical theatre camp is open to all experience levels. Along with theatre and improv games, students will sing, dance, and act as they work together to bring to life an abridged version of a popular musical. The class will end with a celebratory sharing for family and friends. Please note that repeated titles will be adapted for that class’ age range. This class will end with a “sharing” for family and friends on Friday, June 20. Because a good portion of our camp time will be spent preparing for the sharing, daily attendance is strongly encouraged.
